Buri’s Medical receives national accreditation

Buri’s Medical Equipment of Colfax has received an Award of Accreditation from the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation, based in Waterloo, Iowa.

The association bestowed the three-year accreditation on Buri’s after reviewing the company’s patient care, financial stability and operational practices and procedures. Accreditation means Buri’s will meet new Medicare requirements that all companies be accredited by Sept. 30.

The association sets standards for medical equipment businesses by ranking the quality of their equipment and management. Its company rankings can be viewed on the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation web site.
