Hooper: Benefit features Wylie, Baxter Black

Nationally-known cowboy poet Baxter Black and Dusty’s Wylie Gustafson will appear in Hooper to entertain Sunday afternoon.

Black, known around the nation for his cowboy poetry skills, will be entertaining along with Wylie from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

“People will fall off their chairs,” coordinator Della Evans of Hooper predicted.

The LaCrosse Arts Council is selling tickets for $40 in advance and $50 at the gate in a effort to raise money to fix up a building they have been working on in downtown LaCrosse.
