Volunteers have erected a divider wall behind the Texaco Station next to the VFW Memorial in downtown Rosalia. Bill and Sally O’Keefe donated the concrete blocks; Ed Holmes donated use of his wheel tractor; John Millspaugh, John Peters, Joe Griffin and Kenneth Hames donated time and talents for construction of the partition. Flowers donated by Rosalia Coffee & More were planted along the length of the divider.

Hames extended a thank you on behalf of the VFW members.

The Texaco Station has now been closed after being operated through the summer by Mike Day. The station is now operated by the Chamber of Commerce.

Residents who have pre-paid for community calendars can pick them up at US Bank, but those who wish to pay for a calendar are asked to contact Mike Day.
