Thompson, Connor win library prizes

This summer 133 adults from all 14 branches of the Whitman County Library participated in Adult Summer Reading program. Library Director Kristie Kirkpatrick said this was the highest number of finishers since the program began three years ago and also the first year that every branch was represented. This was the first year all participants were given a certificate from local coffee shops around the county. Denise Thompson of Palouse and Ruth Connor of Endicott won $50 certificates from Rosauers in a drawing for all finishers.
