Asphalt repairs set for Chipman Trail

Next week, Sept. 21-25, a work crew will repair a portion of the asphalt surface on the Bill Chipman Palouse Trail located at mile marker one near the Wheatland Express lot east of Pullman. The contractor will post the area as they carry out their work.

The trail will remain open; however, trail users will be required to use a detour for a short unpaved portion during this work. Visitors could experience short delays, according to Tim Myers, parks department director.
