Pressure gauge check

Next Wednesday, Sept. 23, Fran Maxwell, WSU Whitman County Master Food Preserver, will be in the extension office at Colfax to test pressure canner lids for accuracy and answer food preservation questions from 10 a.m. until noon.

Residents are encouraged to bring canner lids to the office for an annual check-up.
