The Inland Northwest Blood Center van will be at Rosalia High School next Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Appointments can be made with Mike Day.
Rosalia Performing Arts Center will be the scene of a “Raise the Roof” benefit concert Saturday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m. It will feature The Wide River Band, a traditional and contemporary bluegrass band.
The band provides high energy music driven by four talented multi-instrumentalists. A $5 donation is suggested.
Upcoming events during the Rosalia Harvest Festival include, Open Mic, Oct. 24 at noon and a fiddle concert. Donations will be accepted, and residents can bring a dessert to sell.
Proceeds will go toward a new roof for the building,
Community calendars are expected to be finished next week. Residents who have already purchased a calendar will be able to pick them up at US Bank.
Mike Day will sell the calendars at the Texaco Station. The Chamber of Commerce plans to keep the station operating until after the harvest festival.
