Heaton guests depart

Heathermarie Heaton Reynoso, Valente, Jeronimo and Xico returned to their home in Mexico City Monday after spending a good portion of the summer with her parents, Blake and Carmen Heaton, and helping with harvest. The boys all entered steers in the Palouse Empire Fair.

Two and a half year old Xico had a little help with his over 300-pound animal. Bo Claassen, son of Wes and Jen Claassen, participated in the Palouse Empire Fair this year by entering a pig.

Guenter and Brigitte Scherwinski, Mountain Home, Idaho, were weekend guests of their daughter, Angela and Brian Broeckel and family.
