Hergert Hits Ace

Phil Hergert of Colfax hit a hole-in-one on hole eight Monday evening at the Colfax Golf course. Hergert used a five wood to drive into the wind on the 170-yard hole. Ross Swan and Christopher Wahl witnessed the shot. Hergert was covered by hole-in-one insurance, according to Ed Glaser, golf club manager.
