Garfield book benefactor

Garfield Elementary School celebrated its annual Book Fair the week of September 14. Garfield resident Sally Bishop, who started buying books from the book fair when her niece and nephew attended Garfield several years ago, continued her tradition of buying a book each year for every elementary student and teacher. This year’s fair raised almost $400 for the purchase of new books for the elementary library.
