Whitman Hospital administrator candidates in final interviews

Four final candidates are in the running to replace the retiring Whitman Hospital and Medical Center administrator Jon Davis.

All four have worked in Washington at one point in their careers and have experience working in a small town, said Gerard Fischer, the liaison official between Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Whitman Hospital.

Fischer declined to name the candidates. He said the hiring will be announced early this month.

Three of the four candidates have already visited the hospital for rounds of interviews with the hospital board and staff members, Fischer said
