Help support the library by purchasing its gently used big screen TV. The Friends of the Library purchased this 60-inch, diagonal screen television for Movie Days, staff training purposes and community use. Library officials plan to replace the TV with projection equipment funded by the Gates Technology grants. The new equipment will have expanded capabilities for presentations, computer projection and instructional classes. For more information, contact the library.
This fall, Whitman County Library has two issues going before voters. Information about the restoration of M&O funding and also the annexation of Endicott, Malden and Farmington can be found on the library’s website or any library branch.
David Guterson’s book The Other has been selected for the Everybody Reads with the author slated to appear at Colfax High School on Nov. 9.
