CWU Wildcats select Hickman for baseball team

Colfax grad Buck Hickman has made the cut for the Central Washington University baseball program at Ellensburg. Hickman, who has received an academic scholarship from CWU, will be designated as a red shirt freshman for the Wildcats this year. He is a right-handed pitcher and one of the Colfax players named by NE coaches for all-league honors.

CWU carries 25 players on the active roster. Red shirt freshman practice with the team but are not part of the travel squad.

Players turn out for the baseball team at this time of year and the final team is named through elimination rounds.

The Wildcats compete in the Division II Great Northwest Conference.
