Eagle netters drop Touchet; Patriots out-battle `hawks

Two contenders in the SE-North loop booked opposite results against SE-South teams in Tuesday’s volleyball rounds. St. John/Endicott notched a win when they hosted Touchet.

Tekoa/Oakesdale traveled all the way to Liberty Christian and sustained their second loss of the season in a match that went into the fifth game.

The Nighthawks have a big test today when Colton rolls to Oakesdale. The Wildcats are 5-2 in the league race after being dropped by LaCrosse/ Washtucna last Thursday.

Garfield/Palouse and Rosalia also both sustained defeats in matchups against SE South teams.
