1 . For Jesus’ disciples the storm came while obeying Jesus’ command: The followers of Jesus, face problems ‘storms’ just as anyone else does. The follower of Christ has the added benefit of being able to turn to Christ for help. Christ is able to give us insights, lift our faith, assure us that we are not alone, and to change our attitude.

2. Jesus appeared in the storm: When our human resources are gone, Christ is our assurance that we will get through the problem. He is our refuge, strength and hope.
