em>Adrian Wall of Colfax has been selected as an Outstanding Service Officer by the Washington State Department of Veteran’s Affairs and the Governor’s Veterans Affairs advisory committee. Wall serves as a Veterans Service Officer, a position which helps ease veterans’ access to benefits from the Veterans Administration. A member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, he will be honored at the Regional Veterans Day Parade Nov. 7 in Auburn and be honored with a plaque at a luncheon following the parade.
Wall served in the U.S. Army from 1985 to 2005 and retired as a sergeant first class.
