Eagles place 2nd at Dayton

St. John/Endicott boys placed second in an SE race last Thursday at Dayton. The race, topped by Tri-Cities Prep, provided a preview of the league lineup which will race today at Waitsburg and then compete for state berths in the SE qualifier at Beachview Park in Clarkston next week.

Three teams and the top 15 boys will qualify for the state run.

Scores at Dayton were Tri-Cities Prep 32, St. John/Endicott 52, Waitsburg/Prescott 54, Asotin 82 and host Dayton 142.
