Dogs attack at Wawawai

Sheriff’s deputies Saturday were called to investigate a reported attack by two dogs near Wawawai Landing on the Snake River. The report of the attack was received at 3:50 p.m. from the emergency room at Whitman Hospital where the victim had gone for treatment. He sustained six to eight wounds which were cleaned. He was released from the hospital.
