New WIAA football classification does what it was to undo
For a revision which was supposed to allow high school athletes around the state an equal chance at playoff glory, the state’s high school football league assignments appear to have missed the mark. At least, that seems to be the result for smaller teams in this part of the state.
Instead, the classification changes have ended the playoff opportunities for players on at least four teams in the SE and NE districts.
