Crews from Spokane Asphalt paved the driveway of the Texaco Service Station last week. The project was spearheaded by the Chamber of Commerce’s Texaco Restoration Committee to make a nicer area for people to take pictures in their cars and to cut down on the amount of gravel tracked into the station by tourists.
Funding was provided by donors who have purchased license plates with their names that are displayed onl the walls inside the station which serves as a tourist center during the summer months.
