Veterans assemblies set at Colfax schools

A Veteran’s Day assembly sponsored by the Colfax High School Associated Student Body will be Friday, Nov. 6, beginning at 9:45 a.m.

Charles Klaudt, an American Legion member who served with the Army in Germany, will be the guest speaker. All veterans and their families are encouraged to attend.

A veterans assembly will be at Jennings Elementary Nov. 9 with the public invited to attend. At 9:15 a.m. in the school gym, elementary and junior high students will sing patriotic songs. Veterans and their families are encouraged to come, eighth grader Taylor Larsen said.
