New Oakesdale incubator ready

The new business incubator in Oakesdale is done and ready for a business to move in.

The county and city funded space, which sits one story above the Oakesdale library, is geared to take on a small business start-up.

Oakesdale seeks a tenant who wants to start a small business and eventually move to a larger space when their business develops, according to Mayor Russ Rickett.

“The idea of the incubator is, at some point, hopefully, early on they could create their business and then put their business down on the street,” Rickett said.
