Lamont fishin’ tales abound

The Art Swannack family went steelhead fishing at Heller’s Bar on the Snake River when school was out. The family caught a total of nine keepers, but it was reported Mom caught the most fish.

Earl Swift and his grandson, Jared Wollweber, braved the cold and windy day to fish on Sprague Lake Saturday. Neither caught a fish.

Jill and Art Swannack attended the Washington Sheep Producers Convention in Spokane last week-end at the Mirrabeau Hotel in the Spokane Valley. Art is the representative for Region 8 of the group. The focus of the convention was nutrition and fiber.

Dan and Jean Stromberger were luncheon guests at the home of their son, Tom Stromberger, in Spokane Friday.

Kathy Shields, Ann and Stephanie Swannack were among guests at the wedding of Patrick Haffey and Juliann Laney Saturday, Nov. 7, at St. Aloysius Church in Spokane. The buffet dinner reception followed at the Spokane Masonic Center.
