Art and Colene Sager attended a Flying Farmers meeting at Felts Field in Spokane Saturday. The group toured the Moody Bible Institute Aviation Program where missionary pilots are trained and the Spokane Turbine Center where they fly the Kodiac airplane made in Sandpoint. Former local resident Bob Ackerman was a guest of the Sagers and sent his greetings to Dusty area residents.
Kim and Cindy Pitts welcomed their first granddaughter, Willa Caroline Hammons, born Friday, Nov. 6, in Phoenix. Her parents are Ryan and Jennifer Pitts Hammon. She weighed six pounds, 10 ounces at birth and joins brothers Kellen, 4 and Becket, 2.
Saturday, Linda Hennigar joined about 15 other women at a brunch/candle party in Colfax, hosted by Lori Brown. Later, she attended a baby shower for Nicole Hennigar Wells in the Public Service Building. The baby is due the beginning of December.
Kathy Zaring Clark and Lynn Zaring Knott hosted a baby shower at The Parsonage Bed and Breakfast Saturday for Sarah McKnight. Approximately 30 women attended.
Larry and Karen Stueckle Light, Portland, and their children Joanne, Emmaly and Joshua spent Friday through Monday at the home of David and Phyllis Stueckle.
