Grenz appeals conviction

Kevin E. Grenz, Farmington resident who was sentenced Oct. 16 in superior court to 89 months in prison after a jury convicted him of child molestation in a 2001 case, has filed a notice of appeal to the state’s Division III court in Spokane. An order of indigency which will provide him a defense attorney and records and reports at public expense was also filed. An attorney will be appointed by the appeals court.

Grenz is now at the state prison facility in Shelton....
