Kathleen Scholz marks 100th

Kathy Atwood, Los Angeles, has been visiting her mother, Kathleen Scholz, and her son Kevin Atwood since the beginning of November. Her daughter Lucy Atwood and Lucy’s fiancé, Jeff Rosenthal of Malibu, arrived at the Scholz home last Saturday. Kathleen’s eldest daughter, Claudia Ebling of Seattle, arrived Monday. They all are here to help Kathleen celebrate her 100th birthday Nov. 17.

Last Tuesday, Dusty B.B. Club met at the home of Dianne Appel. The program, given by Robin Fox of the National Weather Service, was on Weather Watch. Roll Call consisted of interesting frightening experiences members have had with everything from blizzards to tornadoes. December’s meeting will be at 9:30 on Dec. 10 at the Wilcox Grange to decorate for the annual Christmas party. Co-hostesses will be Diane Monson and Jennifer Morris. For roll call, members are asked to bring small stocking stuffer toys to donate. The Christmas party will be Dec. 11, starting at 6:30 at the Wilcox Grange hall.

Last week Wednesday, Karen Broeckel was a guest of Mary Scheideman at lunch at The Harvester in Spangle. Other members of the Scheideman family in attendance were Esther Scheideman Gentry, Martha Scheideman Hibbard, Cheryl Scheideman, Gertie Scheideman and Eva Scheideman LeCaire.

Recently, Joyce Appel and Sally Morris met Heather Appel Kilten and her two youngest daughters and Connie Appel Hilliard in Airway Heights for lunch.

Friday, Gracia Stueckle, Sea-Tac; Gary, Daniel and Anna Stueckle, Edmonds; Goldie Foss, Everett; Johanna Stueckle, Kirkland; Elaine Hogan, Richland; Loren, Jubilee and Josef Stueckle, Selah; and Joshua and Jaime Stueckle and children Peyton, Haydon, Ethan and Brooklynn, Nine Mile Falls, arrived in the Dusty area to spend a couple of days. Goldie, Gracia and Elaine stayed at the home of their sister, Gloria and Norm Erickson. The rest of the family stayed at the Parsonage Bed and Breakfast. All returned to their respective homes Saturday.

Sunday evening, Norm and Gloria Erickson and Randy and Kristin Repp were dinner guests of Aaron and Dana Repp and Derek to help Darin celebrate his third birthday.

Wesley Banks spent Veteran’s Day with his grandmother, Linda Hennigar.

Among those who attended the stage production of “The Lion King” at the ONB Performing Arts Center last were Karen Broeckel, who attended the performance Thursday evening with her sister and nephew, Patty and Brett Wieber of Spokane. The Morris family, Luke, Jennifer, Myshala and Quincy, attended a performance Saturday.
