County gridders named to All League squad

Twelve Whitman County athletes were selected to the District 9 All League football teams for this season, league officials announced Monday.

All SE League offensive honors in the 1B class went to Colton halfback Sam Robertson and LaCrosse/Washtucna/Kahlotus back Garrett Blauert. Seth Weekes and Anthony Bennett of LWK were named first-team offensive linemen.

Robertson was also named All League at defensive back. Also making the defensive team were Justin Aune, Cody Bennett, Garrett Whitney, Beaux Martin and Gary Marmes of LWK.
