Steptoe students mark last Library stop

Steptoe School students visited the Whitman County Library building for the last time before renovation.

Steptoe makes regular monthly visits to the Colfax library for materials and programs.

Due to the renovation, Youth Services Manager Sheri Miller will take the books to Steptoe.

Just like all Whitman County Library cardholders, Steptoe students are able to place requests online at http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us and use their card number.

Miller plans to deliver those items along with other materials for checkout.

The library officially opened in their temporary quarters across the street at US Bank.

The library building is closed for renovation, which is expected to begin the first part of December.
