Hospital highlights - Exceptional year for WHMC

This has been an exceptional year for WHMC. We have a new hospital that has received rave reviews from our patients. WHMC is on sound financial footing, at least for the time being, and we are also moving quickly to implement a wide number of initiatives to improve patient safety and the quality of patient care.

A couple of other points worth noting for this year: WHMC received its highest marks ever on our Press-Ganey Report (Patient Satisfaction Survey). Whitman Medical Group is undergoing an addition and remodeling to better serve patients.

I especially appreciate the support of WHMC over the years I have served as your administrator. I always enjoy hearing from you regarding your care as we are always seeking ways to improve. Feedback really helps.

In short, I thank you folks in the communities we serve. I also thank our excellent physicians, practitioners and most of all the superb employees of WHMC as they are the ones who make WHMC what it is – a place people trust for quality, compassionate and safe care.

Whenever our staff is at work and what ever their job title might be, they are all a vital part of the WHMC mission in providing excellence in healthcare. The role of each and every staff member truly plays a part.

As we approach Christmas and the Holiday Season I want to wish you and your family all the best from me and the proud staff of WHMC.
