Bulldogs will host big mat tournament

Colfax wrestlers, who hosted four teams Tuesday night, will host a mat tournament Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Coach Jeremy Lanthorn said five teams to date have booked wrestlers for the event.

Guests will be St. John/Endicott, Moscow, Pullman, Riverside and Liberty.

Saturday, the Bulldogs traveled to a tourney at Potlatch and placed fourth with a few gaps in their normal lineup. The Bulldogs booked 56 points behind McCall’s 131, Prairie 98, and Potlatch 89.

Tuesday, the Bulldogs hosted wrestlers from St. John/Endicott, Freeman, Clarkston and Potlatch.
