Christmas solution to city deer problem

A herd of Christmas light-framed deer graze on snow - not garden plants - in the side yard of John and Virginia Huber’s home off Highway 195 south of Colfax. Residents, including Mayor Norma Becker, have complained vehemently over the past couple years about deer ruining their landscaping, but the Huber herd took a minimal toll on yard plants.
