Fed road funds pending

Colfax city council members adjusted the 2009 budget because the city has yet to be reimbursed for the South Main and Fairview project which was done with federal stimulus funds. The city was approved to receive $131,000 in federal stimulus funds which will be reimbursed through the state Department of Transportation. The Colfax project was one of three awarded in the county last summer.
