Christmas trees cut along Tucannon river

Dusty

One Dusty family traveled Dec. 20 to the Tucannon campground for Christmas trees.

Luke, Jennifer, Myshala and Quincy Morris, Keith and Sally Morris and Bridgett and Chad Hocutt and Hope and Miriam of Spokane, went to the Tucannon campground to cut three Christmas trees.

Myshala cut the tree for her family by herself. They also roasted marshmallows and hot dogs.

Saturday, Luke, Jennifer, Myshala and Quincy Morris were guests of Jennifer’s father and his wife, Larry and Racquel Lewis, for dinner at their home in Lewiston.

They were joined by Racquel’s two children for an early Christmas.

Word has been received here of the passing of former Country Bible Church Pastor Don Cheadle on Oct. 11. He served the church here from 1975 to 1984. His wife Janet preceded him in death several years ago. He had made his home in Oak Harbor for many years.

The Dusty area has new residents. Phil, Amanda and nine month old son Brady Blankenship moved into the former Wigen/Ray Stueckle/Hanson/Stiller house in mid-November.

Linda Hennigar was a guest of Sharon McKeirnan, LaCrosse, at an ornament exchange party last Wednesday at the home of Debbie Casey near Hooper. Forty-four guests participated in the exchange and refreshments.
