Former Cougar gridder sentenced

Romeo Pellum-Honaker, 20, a former defensive back with the WSU Cougar football team, was sentenced to two months in jail Monday on a conviction of second degree burglary last February. Pellum-Honaker, pleaded guilty Oct. 2 to one charge of second degree burglary under a plea bargain agreement.

The burglary involved theft of items from a student’s room at Streit Hall on the WSU campus. Pellum-Honaker originally faced four charges, including burglary of another room at Perham Hall. Pellum-Honaker was one of five defendants arrested in the case.
