Test flight over Schmuck Park playfield

Brian Elfers of Colfax, left, watches on as son Jackson takes his remote control airplane out for a flight over the Schmuck Park ballfield Tuesday afternoon. The duo made the airplane at home with plans they purchased and printed off from the web site RCPowers.com. The structure of the plane was built out of styrofoam, and it is powered by a tiny battery-operated propeller engine. Jackson said construction of the plane took about six hours.
