Coach Reese Jenkin said the Bulldog boys’ shooting was off the mark inside the spacious dome. The two teams locked up at a scant 15-15 for the first half and picked up a little more offense in the second half.

Colfax had a one-point lead going into the last quarter, but the Coyotes came back to get the win.

Lakeside’s Eagles put Colfax girls into a 10-point hole at halftime and kept the lead for the duration. The Bulldogs were led by nine points from Kayla Johnson.

Taylor Flemming hit 11 for the Eagles who arrived at Yakima with a 7-1 mark.
