Alyssa Gibbar earns EWU award

Alyssa Gibbar of Rosalia has been awarded $2,500 through the trustees fund for the 2009-10 academic year at Eastern Washington University. The award is given to a student who maintains a grade point average of 3.8 or higher.

Alyssa graduated from Rosalia High School two years ago. She played on the Spartan volleyball, basketball and softball teams and served as a Rosalia Princess in 2007. She currently attends EWU where she is a member of Alpha Xi Delta and the women’s volleyball club team. She is the daughter of David and Tracy Gibbar of Thornton.
