Colton girls Tuesday night hammered Liberty/Christian, the top team out of the SE South loop, 85-40 to extend their win string to 10-0 on the season. Liberty Christian arrived at Colton with a 5-0 mark posted in the SE-South league and a 7-4 overall record.
The Wildcats dismantled the Patriots 15-4 in the first quarter. Colton’s barrage include 11 three-point shots with Kelsey Moser hitting five of them. Erin Moser hit three.
Colton took on the Pats Tuesday after big weekend wins at Touchet Saturday and at Garfield against the Vikings Friday.
The Wildcats will travel to Asotin, also undefeated in the SE-North league, Friday night.

St. John/Endicott girls, also undefeated in league play, stacked up two weekend wins to remain in the hunt. Coming off a long holiday break, the Eagles fought off a determined LW Tigercat team for a 53-38 win at Washtucna Friday night and then defeated Rosalia 56-46 in the Saturday round on the St. John boards. Senior Kelsey Simon put down 21 points against the Sparts.
A first round SJE-Colton collision Dec. 15 was postponed in the wake of the Glenn Voshell tragedy. The two clubs aren’t slated to collide until Jan. 26 in the Eagles’ gym.
LaCrosse/Washtucna bounced back Saturday for a 51-37 win over Tri-Cities-Prep in the crossover round at Pasco. Gladys Martinez led the Tigercats with 15 in the big win.
Rosalia booked a split for the weekend with a 48-44 win over the neighboring Nighthawks Friday in the Spartan gym with Katelyn Maley hitting 17. Alex Overton led the `hawks with a game-high 21.
Saturday, host Waitsburg/Prescott nudged the `hawks 48-42 in the crossover round. Desiree Chappell hit 17 for Tekoa/Oakesdale.
