After hearing objections from property owners who would be affected, Whitman County commissioners Monday decided to wait until their next official meeting, Feb. 1, before making a decision on vacating four segments of county road.
The residents spoke against the county’s plan during a public hearing Monday in the commissioners’ meeting room. In total, the road segments amount to less than two miles.
