Lindsey Ann Eggen, daughter of Mark and Shauna Eggen of Auburn, and Thomas Harlan Tribbett, son of Jim and Jeanne Tribbett of Colfax, were married Oct. 17, 2009, at the Coeur d’ Alene Assembly of God Church. The Re., Roy Jeremiah, former pastor of Peace Lutheran in Colfax, officiated at the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a two piece Badgley Mischka dress. A sweetheart neckline trimmed with a delicate tulle accent completed the bodice of a short mini dress made from silk Peau de soie worn under a full tulle skirt adorned with large crystal details throughout the chapel length train. The bodice and skirt were finished with silk covered buttons. Her veil was a double layered, diamond white silk tulle Audrey Hepburn cut that fell softly to elbow length. It was custom made by Jennifer Leigh.

The bride carried a large European hand tied bouquet of white Vendella and Jade green roses with white dendrobium orchids. It was topped with stardust. The bouquet was ballet wrapped and enclosed with Grandmother Jan Pennell’s handkerchief for the touch of “something old & blue.” She also carried her grandmother June Eggens bible.

Soloist Myrna Dossey sang “Grow Old with Me” during the lighting of the unity candle.

Pianist was Pam Rarerick.

Liturgy of the Word readings were by Tracy Tribbett, sister of the groom, and Brooke Kamke, sister of the bride.

The church was decorated with pots of topiary jade green and cream Vendella roses, white hydrangeas, miniature green cymbidium, orchids, white stargazer lilies, white alstroemeria, green hypericum berries, white stock and white dendrobium orchids. The aisle was ablaze with candelabrum and organza as was the altar. The doors to the sanctuary were decorated with two three-foot T letters covered in roses and carnations.

The eight attendants carried large bouquets of green jade roses, green miniature cymbidium orchids and green hypericum berries covered with stardust. Their hand tied bouquets were also ballet wrapped with pearls in the knots.

The two junior bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the attendants’ bouquets.

Flower girls were Taylor Roberts, cousin of the groom, and June Rose Kamke, niece of the bride. They wore ivory organza ruffled dresses accented with a cherry sash from Sweet Beginnings, and they carried white and red rose kissing balls.

Cody Kirkpatrick, Colfax high school friend of the groom, was best man.

Dana Bridge, Tricia Calhoon, Sherry Hartley and Kimberly Hicks, family friends of the bride, were in charge of programs and the guest book.

The reception included a buffet dinner at the Coeur d’Alene Resort. Five ballrooms were opened for the reception, and two buffet lines served guests from either end of the ballrooms with giant ice sculptures featuring fresh flowers.

The head table was adorned with dozens of glass cube candlelights in various sizes. A third of the tables were decorated with 42-inch umbrella style arrangements of white dendrodium and green mini cymbidium orchids, Phoenix robellini palm and bear grass. Another third of the tables featured clear glass cubes in which jade and Vendella roses, hydrandea, white snapdragons, stargazer lilies, white spray roses, white carnations and white alstroemeria were arranged in water. Another third of the tables were decorated with large crystal bowls surrounded by fresh flower rings.

Four 48 inch orbs, each covered in hundreds of white carnations and stardust, hung over the dance floor. A custom light projected the wedding couple’s monogrammed initials onto the dance floor and on the screens that were used for their slide show.

A children’s buffet included foot long hot dogs, pizza and chicken strips and featured a chocolate fountain.

At the start of festivities, an Italian style rehearsal dinner was served aboard the Mish ‘n Nock cruise boat during a Coeur d’Alene Lake cruise.
