Kathryn (Katie) Lee Cloaninger and Christopher Cole Heller were married Sept. 26, 2009, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Colfax. Abbot Adrian Archer officiated the ceremony.
Katie is the daughter of Craig and Leslie Cloaninger of Colfax. Cole is the son of Kim Jaeger of Oak Harbor and Barry Heller of Boise.
Music was provided during the ceremony by pianist Lynn Forrey of Colfax and violinist Kyla Heller of Boise.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white A-line organza gown trimmed with white satin ribbon. She carried a bouquet of white roses accented with blue gems. It was made by her mother.
Matron of honor was Ashley Smith, who has been the bride’s best friend since childhood.
Bridesmaids were Aston Stanard, Kari Johnson, Erin MacDonald and Julie Buchanan.
Best man was Jared Gilpatrick. Groomsmen were Adam Cloaninger, Sam Schell, Travis Butler and Jon Bullard.
The flower girl was Mia Brookshier, and the ring bearer was Carson Cloaninger.
A reception followed at the Cederburg Barn in Colfax.
The couple met while attending Washington State University. The groom is a lieutenant in the U. S. Navy where he serves as a helicopter pilot. The bride is pursuing a career in nursing. They currently reside in San Diego, Calif.
