Man survives rollover crash

William W. Skelton, 61, Colfax, rolled his jeep off Highway 272 Feb. 25, sustaining head and neck injuries.

According to the Washington State Patrol report, Skelton was driving westbound, went off the roadway and struck a dirt embankment.

He made a U-turn, pulled back onto the highway eastbound, and then rolled into the eastbound ditch. Rescue crews had to extricate him out of the back of his Wrangler.
