SE names 1B all district teams

The SE district championship winners in last week’s 1B playoffs at Endicott each landed three slots on top 10 rosters named by the district last week. Coach Clark Vining of the Colton girls and Rob Hudkins of the Rosalia boys also collected coach-of-the-year awards for the SE.

Girls all-district players included Kelsey Moser, Haley Moser and Mollie Kramer, Colton; Kelly Van Lith, Kelsey Simon and Alli Winters, St. John/Endicott; Katelyn and Briann Maley, Rosalia; Zoe Weaver, Touchet; and Gladys Martinez, LaCrosse/Washtucna.

Honorable mention players for SE girls were to Mackenzie Heaslet, Colton; Trisha Luft, SJE; Sam Wilson, Rosalia; Carlie Fraser, Touchet; and Della Fleming, LaCrosse/ Washtucna.

All SE selections for 1B boys were Jim Maley, Zach St. John and Nathan Richards, Rosalia; Warren Miller and Dylan Schmick, St. John/Endicott; Jake Hodnefield and Matt Kates, Touchet; Josh Straughan and Dustin Patchen, Colton; and Jeff Zimmer, LaCrosse/ Washtucna.

Honorable mention went to Chase Druffel and Sam Robertson, Colton; Cole McCanna, St. John/Endicott; John Kuhn, Rosalia; and Chris Wargo, LaCrosse/ Washtucna.
