Planning starts for festival

LaCrosse

LaCrosse Business Association met last week to begin planning Farmers Festival on June 19. The theme for this years festival will be “Welcome Home! A celebration of where we live.” It was also decided to honor past and present teachers and school administration. Several topics were discussed in an effort to improve the festival and add new activities.

The LaCrosse National Honor Society next meals to go will be Monday, March 22. The menu will include hamburger deluxe, chips, fresh vegetables, strawberries and brownie. Please let the school know if you would like lunch delivered and help support the NHS service project.

Hunters Safety Training will be offered in LaCrosse at the Gun Club beginning April 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. Students 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Please contact Stacy Aune for more information.

Annual dog licenses are due by March 31 and are available at City Hall.

The new quarters on Main Street for the Food Bank will be ready to open sometime in April.
