LaCrosse cited as finalist for character program

LaCrosse Schools were one of four districts in the state to be named finalists in the Schools of Character program conducted by the Washington State Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. The district is believed to be the first to receive the honor on the east side of the state.

Lynnwood Elementary won the state award for this year. Franklin Pierce High in Tacoma and Sunnyslope Elementary in the South Kitsap district were the other finalists along with LaCrosse.
