Opinion - Gene Prince was right

Some years ago, long-time state representative and senator Eugene Prince complained about the lack of civility in Olympia.

He lamented the disappearance of the time when people of good intentions fought vigorously over philosophies and issues while still treating each other with respect.

The debates during Prince’s public service might have been heated, but after the votes were cast, members went back to work together on other issues.
