Washington Attorney General Rob McKenna said constitutional flaws, not politics, drove his decision to sign the state onto a legal challenge of the new federal health care reform law.
“Our concern is that we do not believe the federal government has the constitutional authority… to implement this mandate,” said McKenna in a Friday speech to an audience in the Compton Union Building’s Junior Ballroom at WSU.
A standing-room only crowd of students and residents showed up to hear the politician speak.
