Word on the Street - April 1, 2010

The national Postal Service is considering dropping mail delivery on Saturdays, a move it claims will save the department billions of dollars. How do you feel about that?

“It’s fine.”

Do you get mail on Saturdays?

“Saturday delivery was kind of a novelty anyway- I’m from Canada.”

“I think if it would save x amount of billions of dollars for the postal service, yeah.”

“If that’s what they gotta do to keep it going. With e-mailing and twitter going on they are also in a hurt.”

“I kind of enjoy getting my mail on Saturdays.”

“I wouldn’t like it. tend to get a lot in the mail. We live out in the country.”
