Colfax girls roll up 3-1 in season start

Colfax girls Tuesday took two power wins at Odessa to finish out a 3-1 launch in fastpitch action. The two wins at Odessa followed a split Friday at Freeman in the season opener.

James Bledsoe, who has coached youth baseball in Pullman for 10 years, has taken over the head coaching job vacated by Terry Eng. Bledsoe coached baseball at Marshall High in Portland before moving to Pullman in 2000.

Colfax had 22 girls turn out for fastpitch this year, and Colfax grad Kendrin Maj is coaching the javyee club.
