Tracksters open new season

Asotin and Waitsburg/ Prescott were the winners last Wednesday, March 24, when the SE District cranked up the track season at Clarkston. The new west side combo, which linked LaCrosse/Washtucna and St. John/Endicott, placed second in the boys event with 72 points, 142 points behind the powerhouse Cardinal team.

Annie Leendertsen of Garfield/Palouse took wins in the 400 and the high jump. Kelsey Simon of SJE won the 200 dash on the girls side.
